Position - CNC Operator

Location - Dunedin, Otago

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused CNC Operator to join our Dunedin-based team. You will play an important part in our production process, operating modern machinery to help deliver the high-quality joinery we are known for.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating our Biesse flatbed CNC and edgebander

  • Conducting quality control checks and scheduled machine maintenance

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings

  • Managing board stock and using a forklift (training can be provided)

  • Working closely with the wider production team to ensure accuracy and efficiency

 

What You Will Bring to the Role:

  • Experience in CNC operation and/or the joinery or timber industry

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality

  • Forklift experience is a bonus (but not required)

  • A good attitude and willingness to learn – we provide full training for the right candidate
